Love | We want to be defined as a people who truly love - sacrificially. We prioritize unity and fellowship among believers. By this, all men should know we are followers of Jesus. “And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” ~ I Corinthians 13:13
Holiness | We want to be defined as people who never make peace with sin. With the help of God's Holy Spirit, we strive to put to death the deeds of our flesh. We know that God desires His church to be Holy as He is Holy. Obedience is proof of our faith and love for Jesus. “"Abstain from every form of evil." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:22
Truth | We want to be defined as people who base our doctrine on nothing else except God's Word. The Bible is our only absolute authority. We won't base truth on experiences, feelings, or any man's teaching, but solely on the Holy Scriptures. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ~ John 8:32
Prayer | We want to be defined as people who seek God's face. We know that, unless the Lord builds our homes and our church, we labor in vain. We rely on the power and strength of God for all success in life and ministry to others. By ourselves we can do nothing. “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” ~ Matthew 21:22
Faith | We want to be defined as a people who trust God and His promises regardless of our circumstances. We live by faith, not by sight, and without faith it is impossible to please God. In fact, it is through faith that we are even justified and saved. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” ~ Hebrews 11:1
Evangelism | We want to be defined as a people who fulfill the Great Commission and prioritize outreach by finding the needs of our community, state, and world; creating ministries and programs that meet those needs; and preaching Jesus through those ministries so that all people - regardless of culture, race, or class - can be reconciled with God. “...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” ~ Mark 16:15
